Easier to install than expected! May 23, 2023 Reviewer: Edward from Bishop, CA United States   The pop up trailer winch arrived very quickly and was packed very well (do you hear that Amazon?). Since this was a replacement for one that had stripped gears I just reused the old cover that aligned with screw holes in the frame. It fit perfectly and was quite easy to install. It's good that the winch can be turned manually (or slowly with an electric driver/drill because you have to rotate the cable spool be able to gain access to the set screw to secure the steel cable. While the kit includes a plastic Allen wrench to set the upper/lower lift limits you'll need a 1/8'' Allen for the cable set screw. I still need to lube/spray the cable and lube the 2 zerk fittings and figure out why the winch gears stripped in the first place, only 5 years old and not used all that often. New camper lift motor much faster May 18, 2022 Reviewer: Linda S Albos   The new motor is just as loud as our last one so that is no big deal, but the one thing about this new motor it is a lot faster than the previous motor we had. Powerwinch P92001 June 23, 2019 Reviewer: baltimore.elec   The only negative I found, which seems to be a common complaint, is the noise of the motor.  Otherwise I would give it  5 stars.  But, the winch is quick and works great.  TessTools sold it for much less than I could find elsewhere.  Ordering was easy, and it was shipped and delivered quickly.  The winch was packaged well and included the complete wiring harness and good instructions.  The winch was easy to install and works great.  I also like that no grease is needed.   Overall a great deal. Tent Trailer lift system August 18, 2017 Reviewer: Steven McFarland   Great new update from the old worm drive system.  Easy to maintain and works great.  It has power lifting power so it runs smooth and best of all NO greasing the gears.  It is much louder than the old lift system but much more powerful.  I don't mind the noise.  I'm confident this will run for many many years. It works June 21, 2017 Reviewer: robert trennepohl   The winch worked but the covers that came with the unit is useless and did not fit. I put the old covers back on. The hardest part of the job was threading the cable back into the winch spindle hole. The steel strands were smashed and out of round. The hole was very rite. Was this review helpful to you?
