I already had a low pressure guage to check the heater pressure but you had to put it on and off because of the size of the guage. I saw some models had a guage that was small enough you could leave it on even with the cover on. This guage is a exact replacement for Mr. Heater guage. Now I can see the pressure all the time. If your heater did not come with a guage (any brand) buy this guage to monitor your heater at anytime.
